Under the authority of the Financial Services Coordinator, the Financial Management Officer assists and advises the NRBHSSS departments in planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring budgets, in accordance with recognized policies and procedures. She also supports accounting and budgetary operations as well as the accounting department by performing various tasks, reconciliations and financial analyses.
QualificationsUndergraduate university degree in administration, accounting or other appropriate discipline; However, a combination of experience and training may be considered;
Minimum experience of 1 year;
Member of the CPA order, an asset;
Good knowledge of the Quebec health and social services network;
Good knowledge of two of the three languages used in the region: Inuktitut, English and French;
Knowledge of the Office suite;
Knowledge of Espresso and SBFR accounting software, an important asset;
Customer service and customer approach.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec agreement will receive priority
Permanent full-time position (35 hours/week)
Position established in Kuujjuaq
Salary according to the rules issued by the MSSS ($26.22/h to $43.49/h)
Northern benefits: retention bonus ($6,000/year), remoteness ($10,627/year) and cost of living ($3,085/year) and, if hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, accommodation provided to low cost, moving and storage expenses reimbursed, annual personal outings from Kuujjuaq to point of employment provided, etc.
