Reporting to the IT Services Coordinator, you will actively participate in activities promoting service improvement and the development of the service offering.

 

You will participate in the development of recommendations on technological directions and act as a technical advisor to meet the needs of the evolution of infrastructure and projects and ensure their implementation. You will define, configure and document the implementations of software and/or equipment under your responsibility and ensure their development.In some projects, you will take charge while in others, you will collaborate with the different actors. Teamwork is important and valued. You will also ensure certain follow-ups when colleagues are absent.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science. A combination of relevant training and experience could be considered;

2 to 4 years of experience in the health network, considered an asset;

Experience in project management;

Very good knowledge of networking;

Good knowledge of RITM;

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite;

Knowledge of telecommunications (satellite communications), considered an asset;

Concern for implementing solutions that meet security principles;

Knowledge of the Windows environment and its components;

Excellent command of French and English. Inuktitut is an asset;

Sense of autonomy, customer service, team spirit and good priority management;

Be available to work evenings and weekends, according to a schedule to be determined;

Be available to travel across the territory of Nunavik.

Conditions and benefits

Temporary, full-time position (35 hours/week) of 6 months with possibility of extension;

Hourly salary of 24.87$ to 43.06$ based on your experience

Isolation premium ($10,015/year), cost-of-living allowance ($3,085/year) and retention premium ($6,000);

If hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, moving expenses reimbursed and subsidized, furnished housing provided;

3 - 4 return trips per year to point of hiring depending on family situation;

4 weeks of vacation as of first year of employment;
