Under the supervision of the Coordinator-Prevention and Health Promotion within the Public Health department, you will ensure the smooth functioning of general administrative duties. You will assist in various administrative duties for the team such as taking notes during meetings, preparing the minutes thereof, assume travelling logistics and manage the coordinators' mailbox, as required. In addition, you will replace the administrative assistants during their absence.Qualifications
College diploma in office automation or other appropriate discipline; however, a combination of relevant experience and training will be taken into consideration;
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in similar function;
Excellent communication skills in both in French and English (oral and written). Inuktitut is considered a strong asset;
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite(Word, Excel & PPoint);
Strong orientation for customer service, teamwork, communication and priority management. In addition, demonstrate attention to details and professionalism.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) shall receive priority.
Permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week);
Hourly salary of 22.23$ to 29.05$ based on your experience
Isolation premium ($10,015/year), cost-of-living allowance ($3,085/year) and retention premium ($6,000);
If hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, moving expenses reimbursed and subsidized, furnished housing provided;
3 - 4 return trips per year to point of hiring depending on family situation;
4 weeks of vacation as of first year of employment;
