Under the authority of the director of Administrative Services and the supervision of the fixed-assets coordinator, the biomedical engineer will supporting the planning, justification, acquisition, funding and inventory of all medical equipment and technologies for Nunavik territory.
In addition, the biomedical engineer will be involved in all new project development such as the construction of health and social services facilities
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering
Member of the order of engineer of Quebec
Three to five years’ experience in the health and social services network and in project management
Oral and written skills in English and French
Excellent and proven capacity for teamwork
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
Permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week)
Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS and commensurate with experience
Position based in Kuujjuaq or telework with frequent travels up North
