Under the authority of the Financial Services Coordinator, the incumbent of the position administers the entire pay cycle, the Board’s personal expense accounts and accounts payable, in accordance with accepted standards and practices. She also supports the team in various accounting work.
QualificationsDEC in administrative techniques. However, other relevant training and experience may be considered;
Minimum of two (2) years experience in similar duties;
Familiarity with the Logibec payroll/HR system or any other payroll system shall be considered a major asset;
Experience in a Northern Region shall be considered an asset;
Good oral and written skills in French and English; ability to speak Inuktitut shall be considered an asset;
Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Word and Excel;
Rigour and discretion;
Interpersonal skills.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
Permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week);
Position based in Kuujjuaq;
Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS (24.21$/h to 32.32$/h).
