Under the authority of the director of Planning and Programming, the technician shall ensure the smooth functioning of secretarial duties. He or she shall assist the immediate superior in his or her administrative functions as well as the department’s personnel in clerical duties. The technician shall be responsible for taking notes during certain meetings and preparing the minutes thereof. He or she shall also be responsible for logistics relative to the department personnel’s travel.
College diploma in office automation or other appropriate discipline; however, a combination of relevant experience and training shall be taken into consideration
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in similar functions
Excellent spoken and written skills in at least two of the three languages in use in Nunavik
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite
Solid skills in team work and management of priorities
Dynamism and attention to detail
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
