Reporting to the Assistant to the Executive Director and under the supervision of the Communications Coordinator, you will translate documents from English to Inuktitut and from Inuktitut to English. You will also provide interpretation services during meetings of the Board of Directors and its executive committee, and may be asked to serve as an interpreter for various other meetings organized by the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services.
QualificationsØ Excellent knowledge of Inuktitut and English (oral and written);
Ø Knowledge of the Office suite of programs;
Ø Knowledge of translation software programs considered a major asset.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
• Permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week)
• Telework position with occasional travel to Nunavik
• Salary according to the rules issued by the MSSS and the experience acquired (26.22$/h to 43.49$)
