Under the direction of planning and programming, as well as the supervision of the coordinator of childhood, youth and family programs, you will have the following mandate:
- Ensure the planning, implementation and monitoring of the regional activities entrusted to it in connection with its role as expert, including the research activities necessary for the identification and assessment of resources and needs;
- Provide expert advice to partners in the health and social services network, as well as the community network, regarding the improvement of programs and/or services for victims of sexual violence
- Ensure follow-up and offer the necessary support to the various actors involved;
- Be responsible for coordinating the various committees related to these programs and services;
- Participate in teaching and training activities, when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human sciences; however, a combination of relevant training and experience may be taken into consideration
- Sound knowledge of program evaluation, design and implantation
- Sound knowledge of best intervention practices in matters of sexual violence:
- Five years of work experience in the sphere of sexual violence (intervention, implementation, teaching, etc.)
- Familiarity with the Nunavik health and social services network and community organizations
- Mobilizing leadership
- Ability to work in a team and in collaboration with various partners
- Spoken and written skills in at least two of the three languages in use in the region: Inuktitut, English and French
- Familiarity with the MS Office suite
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS (27.08$/h to 47.98$/h)
- Position based in Kuujjuaq or telework with frequent trips to Nunavik
