Under the authority of the head of financial resources, the financial-management officer shall assist and advise the regional board’s departments in matters of fiscal planning, organization, control and follow-up, and this in accordance with recognized policies and procedures.
The officer shall also support accounting and budgeting operations as well as the accounting department in performing various financial tasks, conciliations and analyses.
Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting sciences or other appropriate discipline
Minimum of three years’ experience
CPA title, an asset
Sound knowledge of the Québec health and social services network
Good skills in at least two of the three languages in use in the region: Inuktitut, English and French
Familiarity with the MS Office suite
Familiarity with accounting software Espresso and SBFR shall be considered major assets
Attitude based on services for the clientele and a client-based approach
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
Permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week)
Position based in Kuujjuaq
Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS (24.46$/h to 40.98$/h)
