Under the supervision of the prevention and health promotion coordinator, the officer will have the following responsibilities:
Act as project manager on specific health promotion projects assigned by the prevention and health promotion coordinator (themes ranging from community mobilization, food security, physical activity, harm reduction and tobacco cessation).
Collaborate with the coordinator in the elaboration of project management, impact assessment, and reporting tools that will be used by all prevention and health promotion agents
Train and support colleagues in the utilisation of project management tools
Provide support to sectoral as well as intersectoral partners (municipalities, schools, etc.), in the form of tools, trainings, workshops, etc.
Assist the coordinator in booking and organising meetings, workshops and conferences
Assist the coordinator in the management of various inboxes and work scheduling
Assist the coordinator in all other tasks as required.

PMP attestation, University level project management studies, International Development or related field
Minimum of three years’ experience as a project manager
Experience in International Development, International solidarity or Public Health
Experience as an administrative procedure specialist would be an asset
Sound knowledge of the health and social services network and community-health programs
Mastery of English is required; knowledge French or Inuktitut shall be considered a major asset
Demonstrates leadership skills and autonomy
Capacity for teamwork
Demonstrate absolute awesomeness at everything technologically pertinent in 2021

Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS (25.25$/h to 45.22$/h
Northern benefits: retention premium ($6,000/year), isolation premium ($10,015/year), cost-of-living allowance ($3,085/year) and, if hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, subsidized housing provided, moving and storage expenses reimbursed, annual personal trips from Kuujjuaq to point of hiring provided, etc.
