Under the responsibility of the director of Inuit Values and Practices, the technician shall assume all of the department’s secretarial duties. He or she shall also assist the director and members of the team in certain administrative tasks.
The technician shall be responsible for taking notes during meetings and producing minutes and shall also be responsible for logistics relative to travel arrangements.
Collegial-studies diploma in office automation; however, a combination of relevant experience and training may also be considered
Experience in similar functions
Familiarity with the MS Office suite
Excellent skills in at least two of the three languages in use in the region: Inuktitut, English and French
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
Temporary, full-time position (35 hours/week) of one year with possibility of extension
Position based in Kuujjuaq
Salary according to the rules set forth by the MSSS (22.23$/h to 29.05$/h)
