Under the coordination of the regional team for Qanuippitaa? Inuit health survey (QNIHS) and of the Field supervisor, the Interpreter will support the survey team during the data collection phase in their village. They will:
· Support interviewers and recruiters with communication with community members and Survey participants;
· Support recruitment in collaboration with recruiters and local support team members;
· Facilitate the Wellness Counsellor reach to fieldworkers, participants and community members;
· Respect confidentiality of Survey participants.
· Good knowledge of their community;
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
· Adaptation skill, autonomy and resourcefulness;
· Flexibility in the work schedule as weekly hours and workdays may fluctuate;
· Excellent skills in Inuktitut and English or French;
· Discretion and respect for confidentiality are essential requirements for this role.Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.

- Salary based on experience (26.22$/h to 43.49$/h)
