Under the authority of the Medical Affairs and Physical Health Coordinator, the person holding this position, in collaboration with partners within and outside the region, will carries out work related to the organization of work and the planning of the execution of complex administrative work by collecting and analyzing data.

More specifically, you will be responsible for the administrative functioning of the medical affairs files and will ensure the associated internal and external relations.

You also have specific mandates and act as a contact person with partners and the Health Board, always with a view to improving continuity in the service offering.


You will also be responsible for:


-        Ensure the administrative functioning of various committees and working groups;

-        Attend national, regional and local meetings on various medical issues;

-        Ensure communications, including the preparation of documentation, in order to inform the various bodies to better coordinate their actions;

-        Collaborate in the development of tools necessary to update the guidelines and prepare the progress report;

-        Answer questions from physicians working or wishing to work in the area;

-        Collaborate with team members and other directorates;

-        Complete any other tasks related to the request from your immediate manager.


·         College diploma (DEC) in office automation;

·         Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the health and social services network specifically in medical affairs and physical health;

·         Good understanding of the management frameworks associated with the Regional Physician Resource Plan – General Practice, the Regional Physician Resource Plan – Specialized Services, the SARROS Program and the PFMD Program as well as DRMG operating rules;

·         Interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills with various stakeholders;

·         Dynamism, autonomy and sense of responsibility;

·         Good judgment and organizational and planning skills;

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills;

·         Fluency in two of the three languages used in Nunavik, both spoken and written (English, French, Inuktitut);

·         Good knowledge of the Office suite.

Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.

Conditions and benefits

Temporary full-time assignment (35 hours/week) ) for a period of one year with possibility of extension;


Salary according to the MSSS rules (24.21$/h to 32.32$/h).
