SUPERIOR IMMEDIATE: Coordinator of the financial resources department

FUNCTIONS:
Person who designs, analyzes, evaluates and provides professional techniques relating to accounting, financial and statistical operations in order to ensure sound financial management of the establishment. Under the responsibility of the financial resources coordinator, the payroll financial management agent plans, organizes, and controls the activities relating to the process of this service. More precisely,
Ensures the integrity of payroll processing and ensures its inherent controls;
Ensures compliance with the clauses of collective agreements, decrees and local agreements relating to pay;
Coordinate the information required for the entire payroll cycle with various internal clients;
Ensures, with the help of a team of three (3) payroll technicians, the production of remittances and reports to the various authorities (deductions at source, social charges, banking transactions, annual CARRA declaration and tax statements) ;
Analyze the payroll;
Participate in the production of the annual budget;
Supervises the technicians responsible for the payroll service and participates in weekly payroll processing tasks;
Prepares and participates in the interim and annual audit;
Work closely with the human resources department as part of the technical and financial feasibility analysis of the various union and employer demands relating to payroll;
Collaborates closely with the various departments and provides the documentation and assistance required for their management and financial analysis;
Must assume all other related tasks
Must have a bachelor's degree in administration or other appropriate university discipline;
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position in the Health and Social Services network;
Hold an accreditation from the Canadian Payroll Association (asset);
Knowledge of the Logibec payroll system (asset);
Knowledge and experience of working in a computerized financial management environment;
Bilingualism essential (English / French) spoken and written; Inuktitut (asset);
Focused on the customer experience;
Sense of analysis, discretion and honesty;
Great autonomy and a high sense of responsibility;
Ability to work in a team and to communicate;
Strong interest in working for an establishment located in a remote region and with Inuit culture
Note: The position is based in Montreal (40% telework and 60% face-to-face), but the person must be available to work in Kuujjuaq as needed.
SALARY: Min: $ 856.10 Max: $ 1434.30 / week
