Financial Management Agent
STATUS : Permanent full-time position (35h / week)
PLACE OF WORK : Telework
IMMEDATE SUPERVISOR : Financial resources coordinator
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS :
Person designing, analyzing, evaluating, and providing accounting, financial, and statistical professional techniques in order to assist with the financial management of the institution.
Collects the accounting data from documents, produces, analyzes and regulates the monthly financial information and ensures the accuracy of the information;
Keeps track of positions related to regional strategic planning 2009-2016; prepares periodic reporting, informs managers about possible developments in connection with the strategic planning;
Collaborates in the production of the annual budget; assists managers in their financial management and provides the required support documents;
Prepare tax reports (GST/QST) for the institution;
Produces various reports required for the reconciliation of payroll accounts;
Follows up on special projects ( letter sporadic grant ) informs managers of cost overruns;
Collaborates with the technicians in charge of accounts payable for the proper allocation of costs , works with the technician in charge of accounts receivable for claims sporadic grants;
Prepares documents for the external auditors as requested by the immediate supervisor; participates in the interim and annual audits and monitors recommendations;
Performs annual financial statements related to SHQ buildings;
Works closely with the supervisor and provide the documentation and the assistance required by the latter;
Must take all other related tasks.
Bachelor degree (3 years) in Administration (accounting) or another appropriate university discipline;
Minimum of tree (3) years of experience in a similar position;
C.P.A member or in the process of obtaining the designation is an asset;
Experience in the Health and Social Services network is an asset;
Bilingualism essential (English/French) spoken and written; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;
Sense of analyses, discretion and honesty; great maturity, sense of responsibility and organization skills;
Capacity to work in team and communicate well with others;
Be available for occasional travel to Montreal or Kuujjuaq.
SALARY : Min: 917.70$ Max: 1,522.15$ /week
