STATUS:  Temporary full time assignment for 1 year with possibility of extension, non-unionized position, 35 hours per week
SERVICE:  Human Resources
STARTING DATE:  As soon as possible


Reporting to the head of the Human Resources Department, the person is responsible for recruiting and external staffing of various positions. He/she works closely with managers and the colleagues in the Human Resources Department in order to understand the workforce needs and to deploy the best recruitment strategies. He/she is responsible for the good operation of the external staffing process by coordinating recruitment activities for all types of professionals and technicians such as nurses, social workers, educators, psycho-educators, etc. The person prepares and distributes job offers, represents UTHC in educational institutions such as CEGEPs, universities, as well as in job fairs. He/She receives offers of services, organizes and conducts selection interviews, applies selection tests, checks references, and carries out other follow-ups and verifications in a diligent manner. He/She advises managers during the final selection process. The mandate requires travel throughout the province, including occasional short trips to the Nunavik region, as required.     


Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources; other academic training may be considered

Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment / selection of personnel

Relevant experience in personnel management will be considered an asset

Experience working in remote areas is an asset

Good knowledge of the fields of expertise of professionals in social services/youth protection/rehabilitation/nursing/hospital services

Bilingualism French/English is essential, fluency in Inuktitut is an asset

Sense of responsibility and autonomy; sense of analysis, synthesis, rigor and good decision-making skills;

Communication skills and high capacity to use computer tools

Mastery of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Available to travel

Conditions and benefits

CONDITIONS:  Min.: 870.45$ / week   Max.: 1,507.10$ / week
