IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Director of Nursing and Hospital Services
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for planning and organizing of medical visits in the North;
Works in collaboration with the Liaison Nurses so as to insure medical follow-ups for the beneficiaries
Logistics for the visits in the south;
Logistics for transportation to and from the villages and Kuujjuaq;
Validation of the needs for escort services and the necessary steps;
Make and update the schedules for the medical specialists;
Works in collaboration with the Quebec Northern Module (MNQ) located in Montreal;
Works in collaboration with the DSP Administrative Technician in the management of the transits;
Acts as a resource person for the professionals requiring the technology of Visio conferencing, telemedicine;
Performs miscellaneous complex administrative tasks;
Any other related duties;
High school diploma. A diploma in secretarial techniques would be an asset
Two (2) years of relevant work experience in the Health and Social Services network
Fluent French and English (written and spoken), Inuktitut is an asset
Good knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
Good knowledge of Internet
Thorough knowledge of Quebec’s health system (RAMQ, MSSS, SANA)
Ability to rapidly assimilate new knowledge
Great autonomy, initiative, organization skills and sense of responsibility
SALARY: Min. 751.80$ / 35 hours Max. 847.70$ / 35 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM: 191.93$ or 338.29$ / week – As per family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING: 59.14$/week or more – As per family status
Any employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging. Shared lodging if necessary.
