Medical Archivist - Kuujjuaq

STATUS:                                   Temporary full-time position -6 months replacement

SUPERVISOR:                          Hospital coordinator

STARTING DATE:                     April 2020

                   

FUNCTIONS:

·         The person will be able to make the new international coding 10;

·         Gather, codify the elements of the file and analyze quantitatively;

·         Compile and interpret the medico-administrative statistics (admissions, births, deaths, transfers, departure, etc.);

·         Apply the guidelines for files conservation and disclosure of information contained in the files;

·         Piloting Clinibase and ICLSC software is required;

·         Work with the professional team in the quantitative analysis of records;

·         Replaces administrative agent if required;

·         Answer the requests of points of service;

·         Treatment in eClinibase DSQ;

·         Replaces the archivist team leader during her holidays;

·         Be able to work with Impromtu is an asset;

·         Trainer for admissions in Clinibase.

Qualifications

·         College degree (DEC) in Techniques d’archives médicales or Diploma as Medical archivist from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports, or a Diploma recognized by l’Association québécoise des archivistes médicales or by the Collège des archivistes médicaux du Canada;

·         Knowledge of English and French essential, knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;

·         Sense of responsibility and autonomy; Ability to work in interdisciplinary team;

·         Demonstrate a positive attitude; adaptability;

·         Good knowledge of software:  Clinibase, ICLSC, Med-Echo, Impromptu, Entrepôt de données and eClinibase

Conditions and benefits

SALARY: Min.: $ 795.90   Max.:  $1 119.65 / 35 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM: $ 191.65 / week or more, as per the family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING: $ 59.14 / week or more, as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM: Starting at $ 114.99 / week

Any employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her/his status, transit and/or shared lodging if necessary.
