The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is a multivocational institution in Nunavik, which serves seven villages of the coast of Ungava Bay including Kuujjuaq, where is located the administrative center. The health center has nearly 500 full-time employees, a team of doctors, dentists and pharmacists, and manages a budget of 80 million dollars.

The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is seeking a Head of Programs (Nursing) to undertake the following responsibilities:
Functions: Under the authority of the Director of Nursing and Hospital Services and in accordance with the Center’s philosophy, the candidate will be responsible for managing the first line nursing services provided at the 6 other points of service along the Ungava Coast. The person is also responsible for the supervision of the liaison service for the Ungava coast. The position also entails the management of human resources, finances and materials resources related to this sphere of activity. The person works in close collaboration with the Direction of Community Services and the coordination of Public Health.
Member in good standing of the OIIQ
Bachelor Degree in Nursing, complementary training in management is an asset
Experience in first line services and/or enlarged role
Experience in a Care management
Pertinent work experience in remote areas or in native settings
Bilingualism (French and English) is essential; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
Leadership, initiative, autonomy and capacity to work under pressure
Capacity to travel in other communities
Working conditions shall be those applicable to managers of the Health and Social Services Network.
Class 15 (1): Min: 70,257$ Max: 91,334$/ year
ISOLATION PREMIUM: 9 819 $ or 17,306$ / year, as per the family status
HIGH LIVING COST: 3 075 $ / year, or more as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM: 14 000 $
