The Inuulitsivik Health Centre (CSI), with more than 900 employees, is part of the health and social services network of Quebec, Nunavik region. It provides the population of the Hudson Bay Territory of approximately 7,000 people with front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support. In addition, it provides youth protection services and management for the Nunavik region of Ullivik in Dorval. Its mission is to welcome Inuit people who need to receive health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed in seven communities on the Hudson Bay coast from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.
Under the authority of the Director of Community Services, Aaniavituqarq and the Reintegration Center are regional treatment resources for adults living in Nunavik who have severe and persistent mental health problems and/or intellectual handicaps. Both centers offer day programs as well as external services, including medication supervision and delivery. The program manager is responsible for the overall functioning of both centers, including direct supervision of the Educators and Social Aids. In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for the addiction team. The addiction team is comprised of workers in several communities offering direct addiction counselling services to members of the community. The manager also plays a key role in program service and development as well administrative responsibilities.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social work or related field
Minimum of 2 years management experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential care setting Experience working with psychiatric illness
Experience in addiction counselling
Proven management skills
Well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
Good oral communication skills in English and French Respect for Inuit culture and tradition
Valid driver's licence
Temporary full time position;

CLASS 37 between 73 955$ and Max: 96 141$ per year ;
Working conditions shall be those applicable to managers of the Health and Social Services network;
Isolation premium of 191.93$/week (without dependent) or 338.29$/week (with dependent);
Cargo allowance of around 10 000$ per year per dependent;
Retention premium 114.99$/week;
Furnished housing provided;
3 to 4 exits per year depending on the status;
Up to 16 weeks of absence per year;
Available to travel by plane to Inukjuak and Puvirnituq;
Storage expenses, if applicable, assumed by the employer.
