Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing advisory support in human resources management, particularly in the areas of labor relations and compensation for employees in categories 1, 2, 3, and 4. In this capacity, you will be responsible for coordinating and establishing partnerships with the union and ensuring the consistent interpretation and application of collective agreements, laws, and applicable labor regulations. You will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of new local provisions in the collective agreement.
You will have a continuous focus on implementing best human resources management practices and will work closely with the management team and various departments. To do this, you will demonstrate your leadership, influencing skills, and problem-solving abilities through a "win-win" approach. You will need to focus your management practices on conflict prevention while participating in various committees involving our union partners. You will be tasked with supporting various optimization projects, continuous improvement, and organizational work for client departments. The position holder will have to navigate a broad and complex legal framework, as well as meet performance and transparency obligations.

As a manager within the Human Resources Department, you will play a major role in supporting transformation through a proactive and integrated strategic and operational service offering.
You will contribute to information, communication, and support mechanisms for executives and staff members, emphasizing a coaching and collaborative approach that encourages the contribution of all. You will participate in monitoring performance indicators specific to your area of activity, including using appropriate management information systems.
An experienced manager with high credibility, the ideal candidate possesses a strong team spirit and influencing ability. Concerned with coordinating and aligning activities with stakeholders, they have strong change management skills and the ability to creatively solve complex situations. As an effective communicator, they act with rigor and a high ethical sense.
Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or in administration with a focus on human resources.
A master's degree in a relevant discipline is an asset.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources management, including three (3) years within the healthcare and social services network.
Essential skills and aptitudes Strong knowledge and understanding of the healthcare and social services network, its administration, legal framework, and challenges.
Excellent knowledge of labor laws and collective agreements within the healthcare and social services network, with a solid background in negotiating local matters.
Ability to work with a collaborative approach, change management, partnership, and a focus on meeting client needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good knowledge of organizational vision and activities related to the position.
Membership in a professional order related to the functions is an asset.
Respect and understanding of Inuit culture and traditions.
Bilingualism (French and English) in both spoken and written forms.
Knowledge of Logibec and Outlook is considered an asset.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Annual salary between $74,481 and $96,826
