Strategic planning coordinator

The Inuulitsivik Health Centre (CSI), with more than 900 employees, is part of the health and social services network of Quebec, Nunavik region. It provides the population of the Hudson Bay Territory of approximately 7,000 people with front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support. In addition, it provides youth protection services and management for the Nunavik region of Ullivik in Dorval. Its mission is to welcome Inuit people who need to receive health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed in seven communities on the Hudson Bay coast from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.

Under the autority of the executive management, the professional coordinates activities related to strategic planning. He or she participates in the realization of clinical plans and functional and technical plans, for future establishments. He or she will also set up a process for the establishment of short and medium term objectives for the realization of strategic planning, working with the different departments. He or she will plan the services that need to be improved or developed on the Hudson Coast, in collaboration with every branch.
He or she is also responsible for risk management programs and programs for the improvement of the quality for the entire establishment.
Support the process of establishing annual objectives of the strategic plan
Elaborate the integrated action plan with the branches
Develop monitoring tools allowing to reach the objectives established
Make various analysis in order to maximize the use of the resources in the organization
Participate in the decision process leading to the improvement of our actual establishments or future contructions
Make the clinical plans for the next CLSC to be built
Participate in the development of functional and technical plans of future establishments
Manage the risk management corporative program (development, implementation, continuity, evaluation). This includes the management of injuries/accidents for the entire establishment.
Manage the corporative program for the improvement of the quality ( development, implementation, continuity, evaluation).
Elaborate the oriention and training programs and the employees’ knowledge update for the risk-management program. Be available as a resource person to train employees.

 

Qualifications

Master’s degree in field relevant to the position.
Significant professional experience in a senior management position.
Very good understanding of the field of health and social services.
A significant experience in coordination in reorganization and change projects. 

Conditions and benefits

Wage classification is a class 15: Between 70 257$ and 91 334$;
Isolation premium of  10 014$ (without dependent) or 17 651$  (with dependent) per year;
Cargo allowance of around 10 000$ per year per dependent;
Retention premium between 6 000$ and 10 750$;
Furnished housing provided;
Up to 16 weeks of absence per year.
