The person assesses the nutritional status; determines and ensures the implementation of an intervention strategy aimed at adapting the diet according to the needs to maintain or restore health; develops the required nutritional programs; is responsible for the management and follow-up of users requiring nutritional intervention.
is responsible for the management and follow-up of clients requiring nutritional intervention. The person carries out an overall assessment of the user's condition and determines the objectives of the intervention; decides on the nutritional treatment and ensures the follow-up of the clientele; participates in the development and adaptation of nutrition tools and acts as an expert advisor and support to his/her colleagues in the institution. She designs, implements and evaluates nutrition education programs adapted to individuals and the community.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics Member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec
- Three (3) years of relevant experience (0-100 years clientele)
- Experience in public health and programming an asset
- Bilingualism essential (French and English)
- Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
- Ability to adapt; autonomy
- Ability to plan and organize activities
- Ability to establish a helping relationship; interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of communication strategies; group facilitation skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Valid driver's license
- Availability to travel to various communities in Hudson Bay
- Temporary full time - 1 YEAR REPLACEMENT
- Salary between 27.62$/h and 48.94$/h (Day - 35h/week)
- Cargo premium : 115.64$/week
- Remoteness premium : 203.66$/week without dependant and 358.99$/week with dependant
- Retention premium: 114.99$/week
- 3 to 4 releases per year depending on status
- Furnished housing provided
- Airfare paid by the center
