The Inuulitsivik Health Centre (IHC) in the Nunavik region, with more than 900 employees, is part of the Québec health and social services network. It ensures front-line health and social services for the population of the territory of Hudson Bay. The Inuit population is spread among the seven communities along the Hudson coast, from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.
Responsible for identifying the health needs of individuals, contributing to diagnostic methods, providing and monitoring nursing care required for health promotion, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation as well as to provide care according to a medical prescription.
Be a member of OIIAQ or OIIQ;
Minimum of two (2) years of experience on a medical and long-term care unit.
Bilingual English / French, spoken and written, is essential and knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;
Ability to work in an isolated environment and in a multidisciplinary team;
Experience as a team leader, an asset.
Flexibility and adaptability.
8-9 weeks in the North by replacement;
Weekly salary according to the agreement;
Distance allowance $ 191.93 / week;
Cargo premium 115.64 $ / week;
Retention bonus for OIIQ members only of $ 287.47 / week;
Furnished accommodation provided;
Air transport paid by the center;
