Permanent Full-Time Position (36.25 hrs/week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR:  Head-Nurse of Department, Liaison and Sterilization
STARTING DATE:  As soon as possible

In collaboration with the Ullivik Northern Quebec Module, insures the coordination and continuity of services offered to users, outside their home community.  Participates to the elaboration of the yearly calendar of the specialists visits and manage the organization of services related to those visits.  In the patients’ best interest, the liaison nurse works in close collaboration with the nursing staff of the different services as well as with the doctors of the multidisciplinary teams.


Member in good standing of the OIIQ
Certificate in Nursing
Bachelor degree in Nursing is an asset
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing care
Bilingualism is essential (French, English or Inuktitut)

Initiative and autonomy
Calm and self driven
Capacity to work under pressure
Great concentration capacity despite the work environment
Availability to work overtime and broken shifts when needed
Attention to patient approach



Conditions and benefits

SALARY:  Min.: 872.90$/week     Max.: 1,413.75$/week
ISOLATION PREMIUM: 191.93$/week or 338.29$/week, according to the family status
CARGO PREMIUM:   59.14$/week or more according to the number of dependants

 Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status.  Transit or shared lodging if necessary.
