The primary mission of CLSC nurses is to provide health services that meet the needs of the population with a community and holistic approach to health. These services must be accessible at all times and offered to all members of the community in the territory served.
Person who, in an outpost or a dispensary of a locality covered by the provisions relating to regional disparities, in addition to her duties as a nurse, makes user assessments which allow the doctor to carry out a diagnosis and determine appropriate interventions. She is also called upon to perform activities and interventions that are generally reserved for physicians in other work settings.
The person will travel to dispensaries on the Hudson Bay coast as needed for the service.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide front-line clinical services;
2. Collaborate in the development and implementation of community health programs;
3. Take on the administrative tasks of the CLSC;
4. Act as a local training agent.
- Member in good standing of the OIIQ

- CPR-DEA less than 6 months

Valid driver's license Experience required
- Minimum experience of 3 years in care
- Diverse experience considered on an assessment basis

- Rotation 75h/2 weeks
- Hourly rate according to the collective agreement
- Cargo premium from $36.64 to $146.29/week depending on the village
- Remoteness premium of $203.66/week to $423.53 with dependent depending on the village;
- Retention premium $287.47/week;
- CLSC premium according to job title;
- 3 to 4 annual outings depending on family status;
- Possibility of a commitment bonus;
- Maximum of 16 weeks of leave per year;
- Furnished accommodation provided;
- Moving costs and storage costs, if applicable, paid for by the employe
- ***The professionals of the health and social services sector can ask for a Northern leave (of up to 48 months) from their establishment in order to work in the Nunavik region***
