IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of programs nursing sector and home care
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS: Responsible for identifying the health needs of individuals. Responsible to contribute to methods of diagnosis, provide and monitor nursing care as required for the promotion of health, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation as well as to provide care in accordance with the UTHC guide of collective prescriptions. The person will be required to work on different CLSC programs: child monitoring, perinatal care, vaccination, STI, school health, home care, routine care and emergency care. The person will also be required to be on-called for emergency on rotation. Any other related tasks
Member of the O.I.I.Q.;
Must have successfully completed training in Enlarged Role and / or have experience in community health and isolated outpost (Enlarged Role);
Working experience in an Emergency Department and in obstetrics would be a major asset;
Bilingualism, English/French spoken and written, is essential and Inuktitut is an asset;
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
SALARY : Min.: $1015.50 / week Max.: $1799.25 / week
ISOLATION PREMIUM : $240.25 or more, as per the family situation
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREM : $156.74 / week or as per the family situation
RETENTION PREMIUM : $288.46 / week
ENLARGED ROLE PREM. : $198.00 / week for clinical nurse only
Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status, shared lodging if necessary.
