The Inuulitsivik Health Center is part of the Quebec Health and Social Services Network. Located in Puvirnituq, we offer quality front-line services such as assessment, prevention, diagnosis and treatment to 7,000 Nunavik residents in 7 villages accessible only by plane.
We are looking for nurses with expanded role training to join our full-time Puvirnituq team. If you do not have your training in an extended role but you have been in intensive care or emergency for more than 2 years and are available from May 31 for training, write to us quickly for a direct transition to the practice in expanded role. 


Bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences or bachelor’s degree with three admissible certificates, at least two of which are recognized as being for nursing or College-level diploma in nursing
Member of the OIIQ
Valid driver’s license
Written and oral communications skills in English and French
Experience or training in a broadened role shall be considered an asset
Capacity for adaptation, flexibility and ability to work in a remote setting
Openness toward and interest in Inuit culture

Conditions and benefits

• Full time position 
• Hourly rate according to the collective agreement
• 36,25hrs/week + on call
• Cargo premium 115.64$/week
• Isolation premium between 191.93$ et 338.29$/week according to the family status
• Retention premium 287.47$ /week
• CLSC premium (enlarged role): 186,00$/week
• Furnished lodging provided
• Moving, storage expenses and plane ticket paid by the center
• Up to 16 weeks off per year

**Interveners currently working in the health and social services network may apply for northern leave without pay (for up to 48 months) to work in Nunavik.**
