STATUS:  Temporary full time - 36.25 hours/week 12 months with possibility of prolongation
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Director of community services
STARTING DATE:  As soon as possible

The person will be required to work in collaboration with the Public Health to ensure evaluation, screening and follow-up of people in contact or with contagious tuberculosis. It will also support people with latent TB infection (LTBI) The nurse assesses the health situation, performs his duties in an interdisciplinary team, in accordance with protocols and medical prescriptions. She has the clinical responsibility of care related to clients health needs with bio-psycho-social dimensions.


Bachelor Degree in Nursing;

Member of the O.I.I.Q.;

Experience in tuberculosis clinic is an asset;

Experience in remote area (enlarged role) is an asset;

Bilingualism English\French (spoken and written).  Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;

Ability to work in remote area and within a multidisciplinary team;

Flexibility and capacity of adaptation;

Available to travel within the communities.

Conditions and benefits

SALARY:  Min.:  $ 915.31/week    Max.:  $ 1639.23/week
ISOLATION PREMIUM:  191.93 $ or $ 338.29/week, according to family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING: $ 59.14/week or more, according to family status
RETENTION PREMIUM:  $ 269.23 /week

Any employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her/his family status. Transit or shared lodging if necessary.
