Patients Service Driver - Kuujjuaq
STATUS: Temporary Part Time (recall list) - Shifts on rotation; days, evenings, nights, week-ends - 38.75 hours/week
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS:
Ensures patient’s transportation with the ambulance during medical emergency situations;
Ensures the transport, security and the wellbeing of the users;
Ensure coach services, transportation and delivery of medication, laboratory boxes and others, in accordance with the working routine and upon special requests from immediate supervisor.
Secondary 5 academic background;
Knowledge of English (spoken and written); knowledge of Inuktitut would be an asset;
Must have a valid driver’s license class 4-A (or in process to obtain);
No active or pending criminal record;
Sense of responsibilities, autonomy and assiduity;
Excellent physical condition, able to lift regularly heavy loads;
Available to work on rotation; days, evenings, nights and on weekends;
Ensure emergency on-call duty, on rotation;
First responder training an asset, will be trained if needed.
SALARY: 900.55$ / 38.75 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM: 203.66$/ Week
CARGO PREMIUM: 61.16$/ Week
