Physiotherapist - Kuujjuaq
STATUS : Temporary Occasional replacement-Recall list (35 hours/week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR : Head of programs Physical Rehabilitation
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS :
Under the authority of immediate supervisor, the person assesses the neuro-muscular-skeletal conditions of beneficiaries; designs, implements, revise, and adapt treatment programs towards their functional rehabilitation, in accordance with the law and established standards. The person will work in the following programs: Tusaajiapik Elder’s Home and Day Center, Outpatients Services, Home Care and Social Pediatric. Also, the person will proceed with evaluation and treatment plan for employees in disability for salary insurance or CSST. The person will be called to go to the villages ta assess the peoples to recover the delays.
Must have a undergraduate degree in physiotherapy;
Must have a master's degree in physical therapy;
Member of « Ordre professionnel des Physiothérapeutes du Québec » ;
Relevant experience in evaluation and treatment with varied clientele (children, adults and elders) experience with multiethnic client will be consider an important asset;
Bilingualism is essential (French-English), spoken and written. Knowledge of Inuktitut would be an asset ;
Capacity to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationship; respect for Inuit’s values in the communities;
Large capacity for adaptation and autonomy; available to travel between the communities;
Sense of organization, leadership, dynamism and self confidence;
Must have a valid driver’s license.
SALARY : Min.: $933.10/week Max.: 1763.65$/week
ISOLATION PREMIUM : $203.66.67 per week - or as per the family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING : $61.16.14 per week or more, as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM : $114.99/week
Any employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit (Transit or shared house if required).
