· Review of the child's situation upon expiry of an agreement or order, upon the appearance of new facts, and according to the prescribed delays set out in the regulation respecting the review of the situation of a child;
· Interactive or face-to-face meetings with the child, family, significant others, assigned workers and partners involved;
· Review the situation and determine if the situation remains compromised. If so, determine if the measures will be maintained or modified;
· Planning of the child's return to his/her parents or of a life project;
· Writing progressive notes and reports;
· Seizing court for review or extension of order;
· Youth division court planning and organization;
· Correction of revision reports (written by the application of measures caseworker);
· Clinical support to the interveners through meetings as well as the creation and animation of clinical bulletins and tools for the interveners of the different services of Youth Protection;
· Participation in various committees and clinical projects;Travel to the communities according to the needs

Membership in the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec or the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et des psychoéducatrices du Québec, or registration in the register of acquired rights for the reserved act "Evaluating a person within the framework of a decision by the Director of Youth Protection or the court under the Youth Protection Act" provided for in Bill 28.
Minimum of five years' work experience in functions directly related to the application of the Youth Protection Act.
Other requirements :
Thorough knowledge of the Youth Protection Act and mastery of the concept of protection;
Basic knowledge of psychosocial intervention;
Ability to exercise authority, leadership and professional autonomy;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French;
Position based in Puvirnituq or telework with occasional trips to Nunavik
Hourly wage between $27.46 and $50.39
35 hours per week
Temporary full-time for 6 months

While in Nunavik :
Cargo premium: $115.64/week
Removal premium: $203.66/week without dependant and $358.99/week with dependant;
Retention premium: $114.99/week.
