IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Unit Manager

Under the authority of the immediate superior, the person who, in addition to being responsible for the supervision of the center's users at the pool, ensures that the rules and regulations are respected, provides first aid in the event of incidents or accidents, maintains the equipment and material in good condition and performs all other tasks related to the maintenance of the pool.
Must hold one of the following certificates not more than two years old
Professional lifeguard issued by the Académie de Sauvetage du Québec Inc;
lifeguard issued by the Service National des Sauveteurs Inc;
Water safety and rescue instructor issued by the Canadian Red Cross Society or the Royal Life Saving Society of Canada;
Swimming and Lifesaving Instructor, issued by an accredited YMCA or YWCA, as part of the YMCA of Canada National Aquatics Program.
Must have a valid resuscitation certificate
Fluency in English essential, knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and interpersonal skills
SALARY: 23.24$/hour 813.40$/week (35 hours/week)
FRINGE BENEFITS: 11.91% for the first 3 months; 9.91% after 3 months
