FONCTIONS:
Under the responsibility of the Director of Technical Services, the person prepares plans, specifications and other technical documents for plumbing systems and heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and architectural design. It does the required calculations, solves problems including layout, drawing constraints and installation. It prepares part or all of the project specifications and estimates the costs. She can monitor projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the project manager during all 5 stages of project management;
Performs inspections as requested by the Project Manager or Director of Technical Services;
Assist professionals during inspection visit and needs definition;
Plans, supervises, coordinates and controls the execution of projects carried out by the management;
Carries out mandates for the supervision of projects entrusted to contractors, at the request of the project manager;
Participate in the reception of the buildings transferred to the Tulattavik Health Center of Ungava by the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social;
Realize work execution documents, including preparing drawings, quotation, cost estimates or deadlines;
Prepare or analyze contract documents, including bid documents or bid analysis documents;
Administer the contracts of contractors, suppliers or professional firms;
Perform technical or economic studies;
Participates in the preparation of budget requests, triennial plans and monitors the expenses involved;
Must - Must have a college diploma with a specialization in building technology, architecture or building mechanics from a school recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (in the absence of a candidate with a DEC, a candidate meeting all other requirements may be considered, in which case he/she will be paid in accordance with the salary scale corresponding to his/her schooling);
Must have two (2) years of experience, acquired within the last five (5) years, in similar duties;Must be able to read and develop plans, quotations as well as knowledge of the different construction methods and procurement process

SALARY: $ 852.60/ week (min) to $1188.25 / week
NORTHERN PREMIUM: $ 203.66 or more as per family status
HIGH COST LIVING PREMIUM: $ 61.16 / week or more, as per family status
RETENTION PREMIUM: $ 114.99 / week
Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status (shared lodging if necessary).
