SUPÉRIEUR : Technical Services Coordinator

Under the responsibility of the technical services coordinator, the incumbent will manage a portion of the upkeep, renovation, repair and maintenance projects in plumbing, piping, heating and ventilation systems, refrigeration and architectural systems for the building stock (24 institutional buildings and 112 residential buildings) of the Health Center. Its main functions will be:
Coordinate and supervise the repair and preventive maintenance rounds entrusted to specialized contractors.
Maintain and propel the computer-assisted maintenance management system.
Support the maintenance and renovation team in achieving their objectives, assist them if necessary to provide technical assistance and finally perform quality controls.
Plan material purchases according to Nordic constraints, from the preparation of the tender, through the verification of the conformity of items received.
Assist the coordinator of technical services in his decision-making by providing technical information on the state of the situation on the ground.
Plan and implement institutional moving.
Follow up on the history of installations, maintenance and failures.
Make the inspection tour of buildings in the villages to check the general condition of the installations and make repairs when possible.
Assemble the files by providing the technical documents (information for plans and project specifications) and the cost estimate for the transfer to building consultants.
Able to read and interpret plans and specifications, detect incongruities and model concrete situations.
Transpose work information from verbal to schematic (vice versa) to team members, specialized contractors and the coordinator.
Skilled at maintaining good professional relationships, both with colleagues and contractors.
Be able to organize the work of the maintenance team: setting deadlines, distributing tasks, supervision, mentoring and promoting the maintenance of quality standards.
Be skilled in coordinating maintenance schedules for different systems, assigning mandates to contractors and monitoring multiple projects.
Must have a DEC in building technology or other DEC combined with relevant experience
Have the general health and safety card on construction sites
Relevant experience in project management and personnel management
Advanced user of computer tools (Office suite; GMAO software an asset)
Have a valid driver's license
Knowledge of spoken and written English
Available to travel on the Ungava coast
SALAIRE: Min. $795.90 Max. $1119.65 / 35 hours
PRIME D’ÉLOIGNEMENT: 191.93 $ per week
PRIME VIE CHÈRE: 59.14 $ / per week
RETENTION PREMIUM : 114.99$/week
