One temporary full-time position for a replacement, possibility of prolongation
DIRECTION: Direction of Technical Services
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
Under the authority of the Director of Technical Services, the person administers, supports, installs, configures and maintains the various micro-computer components (hardware and software) that make up the institution's computer network. The person manages the rights of access to the computerized information system; provides technical support to users of software and computer equipment and intervenes during service interruptions; develops wiring plans to connect the various services to the treatment center. She oversees the links between the microcomputers connected by the Windows operating systems. She also deals with the projects of implementation of new applications, working closely with internal users. She assists the director in the specific functions of the information system of the establishment. She may be called to go to other communities to meet the need for different points of service. She provides emergency on-call duty on rotation evening-night-weekend.
Must have a College Diploma (DEC) in Computer Science from a school recognized by the relevant Ministry, or equivalent;
Relevant experience of three (3) years; work experience in Health and Social services network is a major asset;
Bilingualism essential in French and English (spoken and written); knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;
Leadership, initiative and strong autonomy; must be concerned by hight quality of service for the users;
Ability to work in a team and to give training;
Work experience in a remote region and Native milieu would be an important asset;
Valid driver’s license.
SALARY: Min.: 790.65$ Max.: 1066.10$ / 35 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM: 191.93$ or 338.29$ per week as per the family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM : 59.14$/week or more as per the family status
Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status. Can be transit or shared lodging if necessary.
