The Inuulitsivik Health Center (IHC), with more than 900 employees, is part of Quebec's Health and Social Services Network in the Nunavik region. It provides front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support services, to the population of the Hudson Bay Territory, which is composed of approximately 7,000 people. In addition, it provides youth protection services and management, for the Nunavik region, of Ullivik, located in Dorval. The mission of the latter is to welcome Inuit people who need to receive health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is spread over seven communities along the Hudson Bay coast, from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.
Under the responsibility of the Professional Services Coordinator and the Director of Hospital Services, the person who will occupy this position within the Direction of Hospital and Professional Services will be required, in particular, to:
Produce notices of assignment for new employees;
Ensure the logistics for coast travels: produce transport requests as well as accommodation reservations for temporary employees/professionals;
Carry out the logistics surrounding the welcoming and onboarding of management professionals, and support newcomers in their adaptation;
Assist Human Resources with employees' files: leave requests, status changes, etc.
Receive time sheets from various management departments; validate their compliance before approval;
Take care of invoicing, reimbursements and receipts: accounting for medical education funding, re-invoicing to the Regional Board and KRG;
Assist in the production and monitoring of budgets under the DPHS, as well as funding requests;
Organize visits from the denturologist;
Support services coordination by checking attendance as required;
Assist in the production of work schedules as required;
Support employee training on the use of administrative tools as required: payroll, telehealth, GRM, etc.
Organize meetings on request and ensure their smooth running;
Prepare documents and tools such as meeting minutes, translations, orientation guides, schedules, etc;
Produce and update procedures, processes and administrative task lists as required;
Maintain filing, folders and archiving;
Produce and maintain statistical tools, support the archives department and stakeholders in the implementation of I-CLSC;
Produce and maintain lists of employees and contacts for each department;
Write correspondence, collect the mail;
Perform and process purchase requests, classify them;
Assist in the organization of on-site and distance training, conferences, meetings (for example the external midwives' representatives) by taking care of planning, logistics, registration and preparation;
Perform service notifications to the RAMQ for physicians and dentists, keep up to date on RAMQ payment terms and conditions;
Make requests for administrative services as required: payroll, technical services, information technology, auxiliary services and procurement;
Ensure that DPHS housing is well provided and assigned: dentists, doctors and midwives;
Assist one or more physicians or professionals and management in their administrative and professional functions;
Under delegation, authorize the invoicing of physicians and dentists to the RAMQ;
Support the various management services in connection with Telehealth;
May be required to make certain administrative decisions and provide tools to support services at the administrative level.


Diploma of College Studies in administration or in an appropriate discipline from a school recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport;
Minimum experience of three (3) years in the health care network;
Knowledge of medical terminology will be an asset;
Excellent knowledge of the Office suite; Word, Power Point, Lotus Notes and especially Excel;
Fluent in French and English essential (spoken and written);
Ability to work in a team environment in an inter-cultural environment;
Excellent analytical skills;
Any interested candidate will be tested on language skills and the use of the Excel program. Conditions and benefits

Salary rate between 22.23$/hour and 29.05$/hour;
Replacements between 4 to 6 weeks in a row depending on the service needs (+/- 6 months per year)
Cargo allowance of 115,64$/week
Removal allowance of 191,93$/week 
Retention allowance starting at 114,99$/week

Moving and storage expenses reimbursed by the Centre

Any employee recruited in Quebec more than fifty (50) kilometers from the locality where they are called upon to perform their duties, will be entitled to annual outings and accommodation provided according to their status (transit or house to share if the situation requires it).
