STATUS: Temporary full-time, for twelve (12) months with possibility of prolongation, 35 hours per week

IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Head of Service, Human Resources

STARTING DATE: January 2020

 FUNCTIONS:  Person who, under the authority of the Head of Human Resources, produces the required work to promote optimal performance of the service and assists the human resources team in all administrative tasks such as: participating in the hiring process, follow up on departing employee files, job postings and nominations, write correspondence to employees, update employee files, group insurance administration and any other related duties. The person will participate to develop interactive electronic forms in order to reduce and / or eliminate the paper documents currently used and thereafter proceed with the scanning of employee files.



College Diploma with specialization in Techniques de bureautique or Techniques administratives

Two (2) years of experience in the Health and Social Services Network in a similar position or in a related field

Knowledge of collective agreements, compensation and benefits

Very good knowledge of Office, Windows and Adobe software, including software for creating interactive electronic forms

Knowledge of Espresso (Logibec) Human Resources software is an asset

Bilingualism, French and English (spoken and written), knowledge of Inuktitut would be an asset

Work experience in a remote area and knowledge of Inuit culture is an asset

Sense of responsibility and autonomy; analytic, decisive, complete discretion

Capacity to work in team, to favor good client service approach, to maintain harmonious relationships at work; be able to work under pressure

Conditions and benefits

SALARY: Min.: 778.05 $/week          Max.:  1016.75 $/week for 35 hours
NORTHERN PREMIUM:191.93 $/week or 338.29 $/week, as per the family status
CARGO PREMIUM: 59.14 $/week, or as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM: 114.99 $/week

Any employee recruited in Québec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her/his status (transit or shared house if required).
