Person who, performs work related to personnel management, financial management, work organization and planning of the execution of complex administrative tasks .


The person under the responsibility of the Coordinator of Professional Services and the Director of Hospital Services occupying this position within the management team of Professional Services will therefore be required to:

  1. prepare the ‘’avis d’assignation’’ for the new employee;
  2. prepare the travel request and the reservations for all the direction employees when applicable;
  3. coordinate the logistics surrounding the welcoming, orientation of the professionals of the direction;
  4. Follow-up with Human resources on the employees’ file;
  5. Reception and collect of the timesheets of the different services of the direction, validate the conformity for approbation;
  6. Taking care of the billing, repayments and receipts, accountability for medical education funds, rebilling to Régie Régionale and KRG;
  7. Support to the preparation and follow up of the DSPH budget and request for funding;
  8. Organize visit of the denturologist;
  9. Support the coordinator on the presence at work; 
  10. Assist in the production of work schedule when needed;
  11. support new employee in the use of administrative tools when necessary;
  12. organise meetings when requested and assure their proper ongoing;
  13. prepare written text such as meeting minutes;
  14. prepare and update procedures, processus and list of administrative tasks as needed;
  15. maintain, update and archive the files;
  16. produce and update and the statistics tools;
  17. maintain and keep up-to-date the list of employees with their contacts;
  18. open the mail, drafts correspondence;
  19. Prepare purchase orders;
  20. Help in the organization of training, conferences, meetings, including external representations of midwives taking care of planning, logistics, registration and preparation;
  21. Provide service notices to RAMQ for physicians and dentists, keep up to date on RAMQ payment terms;
  22. Make request for administrative services as needed: payroll, technical services, IT services, auxiliary services, supply;
  23. Ensure that the DSPH housing is well provided and assigned;
  24. attend one or more physicians or professionals and manager in their professional and administrative functions;
  25. perform under delegation the authorization of billing for physicians and dentists to the RAMQ;
  26. support the different services of the direction in the organisation and/or usage of the Telehealth;
  27. may be asked to take certain administrative decisions.


A college diploma (DEC) in general administration, accounting and management techniques, office automation techniques or in another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the competent ministry or a college diploma (DEC) ) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or a relevant Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) of eight hundred hours or more combined with experience relevant to the field in question. This job also includes people who hold a certificate of college studies in administrative techniques.

Experience required
  • 3 years minimum in the Health Network
Essential skills and aptitudes
  • A knowledge of the medical terminology will be an asset;Outlook and mostly Excel;
  • The candidate must be fluent at speaking and writing in French and English
  • The candidate must be able to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Very good sense of analysis.
  • All applicants will pass a bilingual written test and an Excel test
Conditions and benefits
  • Temporary full time based in Puvirnituq;
  • Shift : Day (35hours/week)
  • Salary between 24.21$/h and 32.32$/h
  • Cargo premium: 115.64$/week; 
  • Remoteness premium: between 203.66$ without dependant and 358.99$/week with dependant; 
  • Retention premium: $114.99/week;
  • Furnished housing provided;
  • 3 to 4 outings per year depending on family status;  
  • Air transportation paid by the center.
