Permanent full-time position (35H / Week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR:  DSI-DSH (Direction of Nursing & Hospital services)
EMPLOYMENT START:  February 2020

FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the operation of the DSI-DSH office: mail, photocopying, faxing, writing letters and e-mails, telephone, ordering equipment, filing;

Maintains the professional files of the nursing staff under the responsibility of the DSI;

Assists the mid managers of DSI-DSH in their administrative functions;

Assists the nurses in charge of training and infection prevention and control in their administrative functions;

Assists managers and nursing advisors in management tasks;

Collaborates in the organization of nursing students internships;

Collaborates with team leaders in the preparation of work schedules;

Collaborates in the monitoring of management statistics.

Collaborates in the reception and integration of new staff;

Provides administrative support for the coordination of the transport of nursing staff to the villages;

Collaborates in the translation of certain documents;

Performs various complex administrative tasks at the request of the Director of Nursing and Hospital Services;

Any other related tasks.

Qualifications

College Diploma in Administration or Business/Office;

Three (3) years of experience in the health network in a similar position;

Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken), Inuktitut would be an asset;

In-depth knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes

Good knowledge of the Internet;

Knowledge of the Quebec health care system;

Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge;

Great autonomy, initiative, sense of organization and responsibility.

 

Conditions and benefits

SALARY: Min. $778.05          Max. $1016.75
ISOLATION PREMIUM: $191.93 or more, depending on family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING:  $59.14/week or more, depending on family status
RETENTION PREMIUIN: $114.99/week

Any employee hired in Quebec more than fifty (50) kilometers from the locality where she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties will be entitled to annual outings and housing.  Lodging to be shared if necessary.
