Administrative Technician (Executive secretarial duties - Community Services – Teleworking position)

STATUS : TEMPORARY full time position months (35 h/week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR : Director of Community Services
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible

Within the general organization of the Community Services direction, assist and give support to the Director, Heads of programs and the professional staffs of the service with different administrative tasks;  will also be called upon to perform some tasks of the direc­tor or heads of programs during their absences to keep a follow up on their current files;  supports the organization of the work of Inuit interpreters;  perform secretarial complex work as well as some translations  takes care of the material and informational organization of the department's meetings; may be called upon to attend meetings and write up the minutes; keeps several reference lists up to date; enters statistical data; ensures the proper functioning of the stays for visitors and employees (tickets, transit requests); receives and scans mail, writes routine correspondence, ensures the reproduction of documents; performs various related tasks, is an authenticator with the RAMQ for obtaining temporary cards and attestations. 


Possess a College Diploma (DEC) in Techniques de bureautique or administrative techniques and must have a relevant work experience n the absence of a candidate with a DEC, a candidate with a Secondary 5 diploma or a college certificate (800Hrs Min) in a related field may be considered as a Class 1 Administrative Officer. The applicable salary range will be that which corresponds to the candidate's level of education;
Perfectly bilingual, with French/English (spoken and written), Inuktitut keyboarding would be an asset;
Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote;
Experience in the Health and Social services network would be a major asset;
Sense of responsibility and autonomy; very good discretion and decisive;
Be able to work under pressure.

Conditions and benefits

SALARY : Min.: $847.35     Max.: $1131.20 $(35 hours/week)

Any employee recruited in Québec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be entitled to paid airfares for each period of work and to housing provided free of charge (taxable benefits).
