The Inuulitsivik Health Center, with over 950 employees, is part of the Quebec health and social services network, Nunavik region. It provides front-line health and social services to the population of the Hudson Bay territory, which is made up of approximately 7,000 people, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support services. In addition, it provides services related to youth protection as well as the management, for the Nunavik region, of Ullivik located in Dorval. The mission of the latter is to receive Inuit people who need health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed in seven communities on the Hudson Bay coast, from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit. 

Under the authority of the Director of Technical Services, the person performs work related to the administrative management of the department, financial management, organization of work and planning the execution of complex administrative work, including data collection and analysis. This job title also includes assisting in responding to inquiries from employees, internal CSI managers or external agencies related to Technical Services.


More specifically, she will be involved in the administrative management of invoicing, service contracts, purchase orders, boat orders, price requests, support for service requests, scheduling, vacation and absence charts, support for the management of the vehicle fleet and keys, telephony, record keeping, inventory management, production of reports, forms, correspondence, departmental reference lists, etc. She will collaborate, as needed, with all the departments that are part of the Technical Services, i.e., Maintenance and Repair, Capital Assets, Housing and Transportation, Housekeeping and Security, Biomedical Engineering. Any other task as requested by her superior. He/she will have to collaborate with a team of specialized workers or sometimes, contractors and external professionals such as (electricians, plumbers, refrigeration technicians, maintenance mechanics, day labourers, contractors, architects, engineers, etc.). 


  •  DEC in administrative technique in an appropriate discipline from a school recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport. 
  • Knowledge of tools: Microsoft Office, Windows, advanced Excel, Espresso Payroll/HR from Logibec would be an asset, CMMS tools would be an asset, administrative experience with multidisciplinary teams related to infrastructure would be an asset.

Experience required
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years experience in the administrative field, ideally in the health network.
