The Inuulitsivik Health Center, which has more than 900 employees, is part of the Quebec network of health and social services in the Nunavik region. It provides front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support, to the population of approximately 7,000 people in the Hudson sub-region. In addition, it offers services related to youth protection as well as management, on behalf of the Nunavik region, of Ullivik, located in Dorval. The Ullivik's mission is to welcome Inuit traveling south to receive health services from participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed among the seven communities along the coast of Hudson Bay.
Under the authority of the Director of Technical Services, the person performs work related to administrative management of the service, financial management, work organization and planning for complex administrative work, including data collection and analysis.
More specifically, it will be involved in administrative management for billing, service contracts, orders, boat orders, price requests, support for service requests, planning, holiday tables and absences, support for fleet management of vehicles and keys, telephony, record keeping, inventory management, reporting , forms, correspondences, Service reference lists, etc. It will collaborate as needed, with all departments that are part of Technical Services, Maintenance and Repair, Real Estate, Accommodation and Transportation, Housekeeping and Safety, Biomedical Engineering. Any other task at the request of his superior.
It will have to collaborate with a team of skilled workers or sometimes external contractors and professionals such as (electricians, plumbers, refrigerators, maintenance mechanics, day labourers, contractors, architects, engineers etc.).
This job title also includes assistance in responding to enquiries from employees, internal managers of the ISC or external agencies related to Technical Services.
Depending on the required field of activities, must have a diploma of college studies with a core concentration in business administration from a school recognized by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.This position also includes persons who, after relevant experience, have a college certificate in business administration.
Hold a valid driver's license in Quebec.
Oral and written skills in French and English
Have a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience, ideally in the health care system.
Sense of organization and responsibilities, adaptability, leadership, proactiveness, self-employment skills, analytical mind, team spirit, stress tolerance, sense of priorities, positive attitude, eager to improve practical and theoretical learning.
Knowledge of tools: Microsoft Office, Windows, Advanced Excel, Logibec's Espresso Pay/RH would be an asset, GMAO tools an asset, administrative experience with multidisciplinary teams related to infrastructure, are an asset.
Temporary full time position based in Puvirnituq with the possibility of extension.
Salary rate between 22.23$/h and 29.05$/h
Maximum of 16 weeks of leave per year;
3 to 4 annual exits depending on status;
