The Inuulitsivik Health Centre, with more than 900 employees, is part of the Québec health and social services network in the Nunavik region. It provides front-line health and social services for the population of the Hudson subregion. The Inuit population is distributed among the seven communities along the Hudson Bay coast, from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.

A person who provides software and hardware configuration, optimization and security for information systems, technology infrastructure and telecommunications networks. It ensures the implementation, proper operation and evolution of complex technological components with local, regional or provincial reach. She acts as an expert in her field of specialization and supports computer technicians in solving problems of a high level of complexity or specialization. It may be called upon to develop plans for the implementation of technology projects and to coordinate the work of a team of computer technicians.


Must have a college degree (DEC) in computer technology from a school recognized by the relevant ministry or a certificate of relevant college studies (AEC) whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority. She must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.

Conditions and benefits

Temporary full time position 2 years with possibility of permanence based in Puvirnituq
Work/vacation schedule: 8-9 weeks in the North alternating with 4 weeks of leave in the South for a candidate without dependants, two leave periods of five weeks and one of six weeks for a candidate with dependants
Hourly rate from 23.12/hr to 33.61/hr
35 hours per week + on call
Cargo allowance of $115.64 per week
Isolation premium of $191.93 per week for a candidate without dependants and $338.29 per week for a candidate with dependants
Retention premium from $114.99 per week
Group insurance
Furnished housing provided
Moving and storage expenses reimbursed by the health centre
Up to 16 weeks of vacation per year
*** Professionals working in the health and social services network may apply with their institution for northern leave without pay (up to 48 months) to work in Nunavik ***
