Temporary position (recall list) based in Kuujjuaq
SCHEDULE:  38.75 h/week
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:   Director of Technical Services
STARTING DATE: September 2020

 FUNCTIONS:

Under the authority of the Director of Technical Services, the person whose main function, within the biomedical engineering service, is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, verification, calibration, construction, modification and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment. The person makes the necessary recommendations for the proper functioning of the equipment, including its safety aspect. If necessary, perform similar tasks on industrial type electronic equipment. It is called upon to cover all the establishment's services, in particular radiology, the laboratory, monitoring and patient care and refrigeration control.

Qualifications

Hold a DEC in electronics technology with a specialization in biomedical technologies. University training in biomedical technologies is a major asset.

Relevant experience of five (5) years in installation/repair and preventive maintenance of medical imaging equipment and other types of biomedical devices

In-depth knowledge of advanced electronics

Capacity and experience in inventory management

English / French bilingualism spoken and written

Sense of organization and autonomy

Knowledge of CMMS software (Computerized maintenance management system), asset

Move to service points, if necessary

Conditions and benefits

SALARY: Min: $ 881.18      Max: 1,239.61$ / 38.75 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM:  $191.93/ week – as per the family status
CARGO PREMIUM: $59.14$/week or more, as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM: 114.99$/week or more

Any employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per his/ her/his status.
