3 temporary full-time positions 1 year  (35 hours/week) (Rotation day, evening, night)
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:   Coordinator of hospital services
STARTING DATE:  To be discussed with the manager

FUNCTIONS:
Person who, under the authority of the coordinator of hospital services, performs various laboratory analyses for the purpose of helping to achieve a medical diagnosis.  Performs analysis, the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipments, orders the required equipment and products, and prepares Government statistics reports.  Participate to the training and orientation of the new personnel.  Participates to the training and supervision of Medical Technology students, if needed.  Ensures emergency on-call duty, on a rotation basis.

Qualifications

College diploma (DEC) in Laboratory techniques

Active member of the O.P.T.M.Q.

Three (3) years of experience in as Medical Technologist would be an asset

Versatility in different fields such as microbiology, hematology, blood bank and biochemistry

Knowledge of molecular biology would be an asset

Fluent in French (spoken and written) basic English knowledge would be an asset   

Initiative and autonomy

Ability to work within a team

 

 

Conditions and benefits

SALARY: Min:  809.20$      Max: 1176.35 
ISOLATION PREMIUM:  191.93$ / week or more according to family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM: 59.14$/week or more as per family status

Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status.  (Transit or shared lodging if necessary).
