Maternity leave replacement

Temporary one year, with possibilities of prolongation, full-time position (35hours/week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR :Head of program - Home Care
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible


FUNCTIONS :
Collects and analyses the information in the chart, contributes to the development and implementation of the treatment plan and ensures follow-up;
Applies appropriate treatments using appropriate therapies;
Inform user on their condition and teach them appropriate exercises;
Make a list of necessary equipment;
Make equipment orders to insure their installation;
Work in a multidisciplinary team and participate in case discussion;
Any other related tasks.

 

Qualifications

Must have a CEGEP diploma with a concentration in physical rehabilitation from a school recognized by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec;
Member of the OPPQ;
Three (3) years of significant experience;
Leadership, favor team spirit, be organized, motivated and autonomous;
Capable to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationship;
Available to travel on the territory and outside of the territory;
Able to work with native clientele;
Able to work with clientele of all ages;
Able to adapt to an isolated region;
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written), Inukttitut would be an asset;
Possess a valid driver’s license.

Conditions and benefits

SALARY : Min : 809.20 $ /week        Max : 1 176.35 $/ week
ISOLATION PREMIUM : 191.93 $ / week or as per the family status
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM : 59.14 $/week or as per the family status
RETENTION PREMIUM:  114.99 $ / week or as per the number of years of service (ending March 31st, 2020)

Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status.  Transit or Shared lodging if necessary.
