STATUS : Part-Time on a regular replacement 2 months ON/2months OFF schedule (35 hours/week)
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of program – Physical Rehabilitation
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible
FUNCTIONS :
Collects and analyses the information in the chart, contributes to the development and implementation of the treatment plan and ensures follow-up;
Applies appropriate treatments using appropriate therapies;
Inform user on their condition and teach them appropriate exercises;
Make a list of necessary equipment;
Make equipment orders to insure their installation;
Work in a multidisciplinary team and participate in case discussion;
Any other related tasks.
Must have a CEGEP diploma with a concentration in physical rehabilitation from a school recognized by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec;
Member of the OPPQ;
Three (3) years of significant experience;
Work environment: external clientele, CLSC points of services, home support, residence for persons with loss of autonomy, etc..;
Leadership, favor team spirit, be organized, motivated and autonomous;
Capable to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationship;
Available to travel on the territory and outside of the territory;
Able to work with native clientele; clientele of all ages: orthopedics, musculoskeletal, geriatric;
Able to adapt to an isolated region;
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written), Inukttitut would be an asset;
Possess a valid driver’s license.
SALARY : Min : $867.30 /week Max : $1248.45 / week
ISOLATION PREMIUM : $203.66 / week
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM : $74.17/ week
RETENTION PREMIUM : $114.99 / week
Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her family status. Transit or Shared lodging if necessary.
